The INFINITY Data Ontology Manager application provides various functionalities that will enable the user to properly identify commodities using the classes, data requirements statements and classification systems relevant to their business or industry; utilize them as corporate preferred dictionary for later use in the acquisition of quality and management data.

​The primary function of the INFINITY Data Ontology Manager is to allow users to create and maintain data requirements (cataloguing templates). Each class is associated with a set of properties that are used to describe the class and the item linked to it. The data requirement manager is integrated with a dictionary that contains the terms and definitions; this is sometimes called a company lexicon or vocabulary.
